Online & Hybrid Classes Personal Experience
Last fall of 2016, session two, I experienced my first online class in college after taking a hybrid class in biology in my second semester at LaGuardia Community college. Since my experience for both online class and hybrid class are similar, I will cover my online class only because it was my most recent. My online course was a communication class; when I essentially registered for that particular class, I had no idea it was an online class until my first day of class. Our first day of class was the only time we met face-to-face with professor and get to know who our classmates are. After all, class activities, homework, quizzes, and exams were through blackboard. We didn’t use any type of software for the course, the course itself and professor were straight forward.
